Enjoy a public skate at the Meridian Centre for all ages! Public skating will take place on select Sundays from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Outside food & beverage are not permitted into the facility. The concession stand next to the change rooms will be open for all guests!

Clip Cards can be redeemed (not purchased) at the Meridian Centre
Payment will be taken at the Community Entrance
Prices include taxes:

– Child/Youth (17 & under) – $2.80
– Adults (18-64) – $4.35
– Seniors (65+) – $3.30
– Family (same household) – $11.45
– Note: Meridian Centre does not rent or sharpen skates

Please check back frequently since there is a possibility of canceled public skates due to newly announced events.

Entry & Parking:

Enter through the Community Entrance. The Rankin Bridge will be open; skaters will need to exit at the box office doors and head east to the Community Entrance. Parking is still very limited and we encourage skaters to park in one of the City lots or street parking.

Ice Policies:

Guests 14 and under must wear a CSA approved helmet at all times.

No outside food, beverage or alcohol is permitted

Chairs, sleds, hockey sticks, pucks, and other obstructions are not permitted on the ice surface. (Pylons available for children’s skate assistance)

Games such as tag or racing, figure skating maneuvers or erratic skating are not permitted.

Refrain from carrying children.

Ice skates are to be worn on the ice surface at all times.

Please skate at a sensible speed.

Proof of payment may be required prior to entering the ice surface

Report all accidents or injuries to arena staff members immediately

No headsets, cell phones or handheld electronic devices are to be used while skating

Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or anyone under the influence will not be permitted on the premises
