Fit Collective Studio is a local health and fitness facility that provides services to those looking to improve their overall health, wellness, and well-being through fitness, connection, community, and hard work. In 2023, the Fit Collective Foundation was created, a new branch of Fit Collective that is specifically geared towards supporting local charities and those in need within our own backyard.
On September 28th, 2024, we will be hosting our second 24-hour event called FITSTOCK 2024, a 24-hour relay event where teams of six will continuously run or walk for the full 24 hours. The event will be hosted at the YARD Social Club, which will be the home base for the 5 km in and out loop for the run/walk. For this event, we are proud to support Walker Family Cancer Centre at Niagara Health, which provides crucial care and support to those battling cancer in our community. This event is intended to be a gruelling test of fitness, mental and physical strength, and fortitude, but it pales in comparison to the challenges that those battling cancer face every day. The goal is to raise awareness and support for the Walker Family Cancer Centre, while also bringing our community closer together in support of this important cause. We believe that by coming together as a community, we can make a real difference in the fight against cancer.
Last year’s event raised $50,000 for the Walker Family Cancer Centre and we are looking to surpass that total this year.
