One Thorold is an inclusive partnership between community organizations, businesses, faith groups, and local government to collectively facilitate the continued positive transformation of all aspects of life, work, and play in Thorold through connection, communication, and advocacy.

One Thorold is made up of an amazing group of local business owners, politicians, church leaders, community agencies staff and concerned citizens; our common goal is to work towards the transformation of our city, to make a great city even better!

We launched in 2018 after the Thorold Ministerial (One Church Thorold) hosted its first “Thorold Leaders Prayer Breakfast.” After the breakfast, many people were inspired and began to ask, “So what’s next?”. And so the movement of One Thorold was born.

In the ensuing years, we have listened to our community and consulted various local agencies to discern opportunities and needs. Accordingly, we have launched several initiatives to engage various opportunities and address various needs in our city.

In particular, we have formed several sub-teams:

• Affordable Housing Committee
• Neighbourhood Hub Committee
• Indigenous Truth & Reconciliation Committee
• Addictions Committee
