Happy 2019 everyone!
When I wake up in the morning, I want to be excited to go to work. Even on Mondays.
I’ve made a change that I am positively thrilled about, and I am excited to be able to share it with you.
I have restructured the business side of The Niagara Guide so it is now a social enterprise company.
A social enterprise company re-invests a portion of its profits into the community. In our case, we are committing to re-invest at least 50% of our gross sales revenue from our online marketing packages back into Niagara non-profit, charitable, and other community organizations.
As part of this new initiative, we are scaling up the free online marketing services we provide to our community partners. If you are involved with a community organization that is doing good in Niagara, we encourage you to work with us. We’ll help promote and raise funds for your organization. We have also updated our online marketing packages to provide an even greater value to our paying customers.
Our model is to pair a Community Partner with an advertiser to market both organizations. This arrangement gives both organizations more exposure and recognition than if they were marketed independently. We can promote and support our community while providing effective online marketing for our customers.
We believe this model can be a game-changer for our Community Partners, our Corporate Partners, and for The Niagara Guide. I know this idea has merit, and I will be putting my heart and soul into making this new vision an awesome reality. I hope you see the potential and can help The Niagara Guide reach its full potential. When I look to the future, I think it is possible that The Niagara Guide will be able to return hundreds of thousands of dollars to the community over the next five years while in turn, providing quality jobs right here in Niagara.
Our new tagline at The Niagara Guide is “Strengthening Community via Smart Marketing”. I am looking to be the change I want to see in my community. I hope you can share and support this vision of a better, stronger Niagara.
Onward!
